Thank you for choosing Bokmal Outfitters for your upcoming safari adventure. To ensure a smooth booking process, please carefully review the following terms and conditions:

Reservation and Deposit:

To confirm your safari booking, we require a deposit of 30% (THIRTY PER CENTUM) of the total hunting package or 50% (FIFTY PER CENTUM) of the total hunting rate, whichever is applicable. This deposit is due within seven (7) days of accepting a written quotation. Your deposit signifies acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined herein, regardless of whether or not a written contract has been signed. Please note that your safari will only be confirmed and considered valid upon the receipt of the full required deposit.

Balance Payment:

The balance of the hunting package or hunting rate, observer rates, license fees, air charters, additional ground transport, meet-and-greet fees, and additional firearm import/export permits is payable 60 days prior to the safari's commencement.

Additional Fees and Payments:

Any expenses incurred during the safari, such as purchases on behalf of clients, staff gratuities, ammo tax, etc., are payable on the last day of the safari or immediately upon request. Trophy fees are payable on the last day of the safari for all animals shot or wounded/lost.

Refunds and Overdue Payments:

Refunds for non-shot trophies will be issued within 30 days from the last day of the safari. Overdue amounts will accrue interest at a rate of 2% per month from the last day of the safari until final payment is received. Accounts outstanding for more than three months will be referred to an Attorney for collection, with the client responsible for associated fees.

Payment Methods:

Payments can be made by direct wire transfer, PayPal, travelers' cheques, bank guaranteed cheques, or cash, payable to Bokmal Africa. Proof of payment must be submitted in writing before acknowledgment. Personal cheques or credit cards are not accepted unless otherwise advised. The client is liable for wire transfer fees and other bank or PayPal fees.

Currency and Exchange Rates:

All payments must be made in USD or €uro at the ruling exchange rate on the last day of the safari.

Cancellation Policy:

More than 365 days prior: 95% refund (less 5% administration fee and incurred expenses)

180 – 365 days prior: 50% refund (less incurred expenses)

Within 180 days: No refund, unless a substitute is provided for the exact contracted period.

Card Payments and Travel Tips:

Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted, but cash is recommended in more remote areas. Notify your bank of card usage in Africa. Dinners, American Express, Discover, and cryptocurrency are not accepted. The preferred methods for final payment will be specified by most outfitters at the end of the safari.
